Job Title: Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ackerman Pierce. As a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and complex conditions.

About the Role:
  • Support students with autism, ADHD, SPD, SEMH, and other associated conditions.
  • Prepare and deliver individualized learning plans using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
  • Provide emotional and physical support to foster individual development.
  • Contribute to a supportive, enriching environment where every day brings new challenges and rewards.
  • Assess and monitor students' work and provide feedback to parents and other professionals.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with SEND and complex needs.
  • Background in teaching, supporting teaching, or private tutoring.
  • Ability to work in a range of indoor and outdoor classroom activities.
  • Reliable and consistent with good communication skills.
