Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Medical Content Specialist to join our team in London or Chester office. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality educational content for various audiences, working closely with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and edit scientific content for diverse audiences, following client needs, deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Interpret project briefs from clients or senior team members, delivering content that meets project objectives and tone within the agreed timeline.
  • Represent the editorial team in project planning, task allocation, and communication with other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Research and produce content in various formats, including PowerPoint slides, Word documents, eLearning modules, animations, podcasts, infographics, and websites.
  • Serve as a point of contact for matters related to scientific content for clients, experts, and internal staff.
  • Accurately record time spent on projects against budgeted time and complete timesheets in a timely manner.
  • Monitor utilization rate to maintain an average of 95%.

Business Development:

  • Maintain awareness of therapeutic areas.
  • Participate in client meetings and pitches as a scientific representative of Lifelancer.

Experience, Skills, Qualifications:

  • A biomedical degree (or extensive equivalent experience).
  • Excellent attention to detail, oral and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Good interpersonal/teamwork skills.
  • Understanding and implementing editorial processes in all aspects of the role.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • A higher degree in a biomedical discipline, ideally MSc or PhD.

Estimated Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
