Medical Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Delivery Specialist to join our team at StateServ Medical, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and exchanging durable medical equipment to patients in their homes. This is a critical role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
About the Job:
- In this role, you will interact with customers, patients, and healthcare professionals on a daily basis, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of medical equipment.
- You will be responsible for managing your route, scanning equipment, and updating records to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
- Additionally, you will participate in pre-trip inspections, respond to emergency calls, and stock trucks with rolling stock to maintain a 'ready' condition for the next delivery.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a 14-16-foot box truck safely are essential requirements for this position.
Requirements:
- You must have at least six months of experience interfacing with customers and possess knowledge of smart devices, computers, and hand-held scanning devices.
- Experience in the healthcare or medical fields is preferred, but not required.
- You should be able to lift, carry, push, and pull durable medical equipment that weighs up to 80 lbs.
- This role may require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or demonstration of a negative status through routine testing.
