Sovos Compliance is a global leader in tax, compliance, and trust solutions. We're seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join our team and help us navigate an increasingly regulated world with confidence.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to build market demand for our solutions and services by arranging sales meetings with potential business prospects. You'll work closely with our Account Executives to identify and execute territory plans, and creatively identify and recommend improvements to business development strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build market demand for Sovos' solutions and services by arranging sales meetings with potential business prospects
  • Network, sales prospect, and follow-up on marketing campaigns to learn about businesses and educate organisations on Sovos' solutions
  • Team with Account Executives to identify and execute territory plans
  • Creatively identify and recommend improvements to business development strategies, processes, documents, tools, etc.
  • Ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities concurrently and actively manage tasks to ensure effective pipeline development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong team player – identify and execute ideas that will make the Business Development team better
  • General understanding of business, financial systems, and organisational decision-making
  • Ability to work with mid/executive level contacts at clients
  • Effective planning, organising, and prioritisation
  • Ability to be creative as a communicator
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Fluency in German
