About the Role

Kennedys is seeking a skilled professional to join our esteemed Healthcare team as an Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex NHS Resolution EL/PL matters, leveraging your expertise in medical law and litigation.

Team Overview

Our Healthcare division provides expert advice to NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, and medical malpractice insurers on EL/PL and clinical negligence claims. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including medical insurance coverage, health law advice, and regulatory matters, as well as representation at inquests and judicial reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on a wide range of fast track and multi-track EL/PL claims
  • Manage own EL/PL caseload, including litigation experience within EL/PL
  • Provide good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional results for our clients

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' qualified experience with relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Litigation experience within EL/PL
  • Ability to manage own EL/PL caseload
