Electronics Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in the Defence sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic circuits, analysing electronic systems, and generating requirements for electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic circuits
  • Analyse electronic systems
  • Generate requirements for electronic systems
  • Capture schematics and designs
  • Provide PCB layout advice and review
  • Select and review components
  • Take on varied engineering tasks to support projects and programs
  • Participate in internal and external meetings
  • Interface with customers on technical and project issues
  • Document your work in line with local operating procedures
  • Take an active role in Continuous Improvement
Requirements:
  • Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Quick learner with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Basic knowledge of analogue and digital design
  • Experience with schematic capture and drawing review
  • Circuit simulation experience
  • Wiring definition experience
  • Understanding of PCB layout supervision
Desirable:
  • Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment
  • Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain
