Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reports for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is accurate.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Develop and maintain budgets, cash flow projections, and financial models.
- Perform VAT and Corporation Tax calculations and returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare draft annual statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant with previous experience in producing full management accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines and priorities.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary range of £50,000 - £55,000, dependent on experience.
- 30 days holiday + Bank holidays.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with 1 day per week in the office and the remainder from home.
