Job Summary:

iBC Healthcare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Day Centre team in Leicester. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR & Recruitment team and Staff Files, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with contractors and maintenance companies to obtain quotes for works identified.
  • Support in all operational tasks as directed by the Area Manager.
  • Carry out finance audits and monitor service user money, liaising with the Registered Manager.
  • Provide clerical support for the homes, including word processing, photocopying, filing, and keeping personal records.
  • Archiving and organizing post.
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Will be willing to complete tasks allocated flexibly and out of usual scope.
  • Support with administration tasks in the office and onsite.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in an administrator role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced workload.
  • Experienced with IT, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Confident, personable, proactive.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent solution-oriented problem-solving ability.
  • Evidence of previous administrative roles.
  • Able to present information confidently at all levels.
