About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication administration, and household management.
  • Support individuals to participate in community activities, such as bowling, shopping, and social events.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of individual's care and support plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties.
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Manual driving license (essential).
