As a Mechanical Design Engineer (CAD), you will be responsible for producing and delivering conceptual designs, detail designs, manufacturing specifications, operational documentation, and validation evidence for mechanical engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing calculations and analysis in support of design solutions
* Maintaining design history
* Supporting technical reviews and giving presentations on design solutions
* Working with Senior Engineers in scoping, planning, and estimating future activities
* Applying the practical use of engineering methods, tools, and processes
* Technical leadership/mentoring of junior staff, Apprentices & Graduates
The ideal candidate will have experience in Mechanical Engineering Design and specifications to produce fully defined engineering drawing packs to BS 8888 with GD&T.
