Job Title: Prototyper

We are seeking an experienced Prototyper to join our team at People Solutions Group Limited. As a Prototyper, you will be responsible for creating and testing prototypes of new products, ensuring they meet design specifications and are ready for mass production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and construct prototypes based on design specifications and requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine designs and resolve any technical issues
  • Utilize a variety of tools, materials, and manufacturing processes to create functional prototypes
  • Perform tests and evaluations on prototypes to ensure they meet quality, durability, and performance standards
  • Document and report on the prototype development process, including any modifications and recommendations
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production
Requirements:
  • Have experience of acrylic fabrication and a good understanding of production build techniques
  • Have experience of operating circular saws, CNC's, V Groovers and Lasers
  • Have an understanding and experience of AutoCAD drawings
  • Good attention to detail and a good understanding of quality requirements
  • Have strong communication skills with a positive working attitude
