About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Fairmile Grange Care Home in Christchurch. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing events and activities that cater to a range of interests, from arts and crafts to music sessions and physical exercises.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar capacity, such as a Care Assistant or Support Worker, and will possess a creative flair with a range of practical skills. They will also be able to assist with planning a calendar of activities and work effectively under the supervision of our Wellbeing Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging events and activities for residents
  • Assist with planning a calendar of activities
  • Work collaboratively with the Wellbeing Manager to ensure smooth delivery of activities
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience within a similar capacity (Care, Care Assistant, Support Worker)
  • A creative flair with a range of practical skills (e.g. arts & crafts)
  • Ability to assist with planning a calendar of activities
