About the Role:

We are excited to offer a remarkable opportunity for a Senior Motor Controls Technologist to enhance the technical excellence of our project deliveries at Mane Contract Services.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership for the Motor Controls team, coaching and mentoring team members to elevate their performance. Your responsibilities will include offering support and guidance on highly complex issues across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership for the Motor Controls team, driving technical excellence and innovation.
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Offer support and guidance on complex technical issues, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and implement control algorithms for digital control systems, leveraging expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded Coder.
  • Model complex real-world electronic and mechanical systems, including feedback sensors, motors, drivetrains, and drive electronics.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in designing and developing control algorithms for digital control systems.
  • Proficient in using MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded Coder to generate deployment-ready control algorithms.
  • Capable of modelling complex real-world electronic and mechanical systems.
