About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Motor Controls Technologist to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the technical excellence of our project deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership for the Motor Controls team, coaching and mentoring team members to elevate their performance.
  • Offer support and guidance on highly complex issues across all projects.
  • Shape the future strategy for the Motor Control aspects of design and delivery within Actuation Systems.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in designing and developing control algorithms for digital control systems.
  • Proficient in using MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded Coder to generate deployment-ready control algorithms, ideally with direct experience in controlling BLDC motors.
  • Capable of modelling complex real-world electronic and mechanical systems, including feedback sensors, motors, drivetrains, and drive electronics.
  • Skilled at deriving sub-system or component requirements from customer specifications to support system architecture development.
