Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our team at Life Works, a highly respected private rehabilitation centre in Woking, Surrey.

About the Role
  • This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high standards of care.
  • You will be responsible for undertaking initial assessments for service users admitted to the hospital, determining the appropriate level of care, and working with the ward multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of the treatment and care pathway.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting patients through their recovery journey, contributing to our holistic approach to healthcare, and providing phlebotomy services as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership of and participation in learning activities and clinical supervision.
  • Participation in Clinical Governance activities, and account for contracted hours utilised in research, clinical audit, Continuing Professional Development and other non-clinical duties as necessary and in a timely manner.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure that service users have access to appropriate clinical cover at all times, which will require participation in an on-call rota for the site.
  • The post holder will be expected to support the service in delivering physical health care and potentially emergency treatment to service users.
Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD/RGN) with valid NMC registration.
  • Registered Non-Medical Prescriber
  • Desirable to have completed an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Training Course or a Clinical Skills development course (which should include initial examination, ECG and venepuncture)
  • Proven experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, ideally within a mental health, addiction, or related setting.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development, a generous pension scheme, and a healthy work-life balance.
