Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

This role is designed for individuals with military experience and/or those who are military spouses/children interested in transitioning to the private sector.
At Amazon, we value the skills and expertise that military personnel bring to our organization. Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform planned preventative maintenance on equipment to mitigate risks and ensure optimal performance.
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
- Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
- Manage contractors and ensure that maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Requirements:
- Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
- Experience in interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
- Experience of sortation machines.
- Experience of print and apply machines.
- Experience in fault finding on building equipment, such as HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing, and general building maintenance tasks.
