Job Description

We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist to join our team in Cellular Pathology at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. This is an exciting opportunity for scientists to be part of a forward-thinking laboratory service, developing and delivering cutting-edge technology.

Main Responsibilities
  • To work as part of the Cellular Pathology team, utilizing manual and automated techniques in a laboratory environment.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • To collaborate with colleagues to meet clinical service user needs and drive service quality and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent, with HCPC registration or expected within 12 months. Experience working in a laboratory and general familiarity with computer software are essential. The ability to pick up techniques quickly and knowledge of quality control and assurance are also highly desirable.
