Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Suppression Service Engineer to join our team at Detail2Recruitment. As a Fire Suppression Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of fire suppression equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend customer sites to perform maintenance and servicing of fire suppression equipment
  • Modify and remedial works on fire suppression systems
  • Test and maintain fire suppression systems and equipment
  • Perform Pre-Planned Maintenance (PPM) on fire suppression systems and equipment
  • Attend breakdowns and call-outs to resolve issues with fire suppression systems
  • Fault-find and perform remedial works on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Complete small works projects related to fire suppression systems
  • Work closely with facilities and building managers on site and directly with clients
  • Prepare and complete job worksheets, paperwork, and reports
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with relevant British Standards
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in servicing, maintaining, and commissioning Ansul R102 and Piranha systems
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent driving ability and confidence in driving in and out of Cardiff and surrounding areas
  • Good communication skills when dealing with customers
  • Attention to detail and pride in work completed
  • Adherence to strict fire/security and health and safety regulations
  • Flexible approach to working hours (paid from door to door)
