Digital Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Operations Director to join our team at the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our digital services and driving our digital transformation strategy forward.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have extensive experience in digital services, ideally within a membership or educational environment. You will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of complex digital systems, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and delivery of our digital strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Manage relationships with external IT support providers and lead on the organisation's digital strategy.
- Act as ISTD's Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Support the business planning and direction setting for ISTD, working collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer, Directors, and direct reports.
- Identify and implement strategic opportunities for growth, in line with ISTD's mission, core values, and Business Plan.
- Extensive experience of working at a senior level in digital services, ideally within a membership or educational environment.
- Proven track record of the successful development and delivery of complex digital systems.
- Substantial project management experience and a proven ability to set, control, and report on budgeting.
- Proven knowledge of data management and the associated legislative requirements.
