Medical Assessor Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assessor Specialist to join our team at PFAS. As a key member of our Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS), you will play a vital role in assessing the cases of individuals applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing information critically to create accurate and concise reports.
- Providing positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional. You will also need to demonstrate a broad clinical knowledge and previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office.
Educational RequirementsNurses must hold a Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) qualification and be a Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN). Physios/OTs must hold a Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist qualification and be a Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OTs (COT). Paramedics must hold a BSc or Qualified Paramedic qualification and be a Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
What We OfferAs a Medical Assessor Specialist with PFAS, you can expect a competitive salary of around £40,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
