Job Opportunity at Trial Balance Consulting

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Barnstaple.

In this role, you will work closely with the Managing Director, General Manager, and head office team to assist with transactional and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will enjoy a broad and varied role which is anticipated to develop into a dedicated finance manager role in time.

  1. Raise purchase orders, upload invoices, reconcile statements, and process supplier payments.
  2. Create and send client invoices and monitor aged debtors.
  3. Generate and process customer bills.
  4. Assist clients and suppliers with finance queries.
  5. Manage petty cash and maintain company databases and systems.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong general aptitude and organisational skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, particularly pivot tables, formulas, and data extraction techniques, is essential. Experience with Xero accounting platform is advantageous but not required.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong general aptitude and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data extraction techniques.
  • Experience with Xero accounting platform an advantage.
