Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely primary school in Cheltenham.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with young children, particularly in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and a good understanding of phonics.

The role involves supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to our students, assisting with lesson planning, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering EYFS lessons
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working with the class teacher to identify and support students with additional needs

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in EYFS
  • Good understanding of phonics
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
