Childcare & Nursery Director

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for our children.
As a Nursery Manager, you will supervise children, ensure their safety, and organize activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks. You will also be responsible for communicating effectively with children, staff members, and parents, and for maintaining a positive outlook to keep children happy and build an environment where they feel secure and rewarded.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of care and education for our children.
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of our children and align with our nursery's values and mission.
- Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and training to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and behaviour.
- Manage the nursery budget, ensuring that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources.
- Monitor the condition of the facility and equipment, organizing maintenance, repairs, and new items as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
