Job Title: Infrastructure Automation Engineer

About the Role:

Hendy Group is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our forward-thinking Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation scripts and tools to automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing automation scripts and tools to automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to ensure consistent and reproducible infrastructure deployments.
  • Implementing security best practices and protocols to protect our infrastructure and data, working closely with the App Dev team.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Setting up monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to infrastructure incidents promptly and conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborating with development, operations, and other teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
  • Maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations and processes.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance during critical incidents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on automation and deployment.
  • Exposure to scripting and programming languages.
  • Awareness of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and application development methodologies.

Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
