Group Finance Director

We are seeking an experienced commercial Finance Director to partner with our established Head and support the Governors in leading and stewarding our organization successfully through the challenges and opportunities it faces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all financial aspects of our strategy, procedures, and activities.
- Design and deliver the Group's strategic and operational plans.
- Report directly to the Head and have direct access to the Chair of Governors and Chair of the Finance Committee.
- Oversee the finance functions of a range of entities, including Stowe School Ltd, Stowe Enterprises Ltd, and Stowe House Preservation Trust.
- Ensure the Group's finances, investments, and financial systems can support and anticipate its educational and charitable ambitions.
Requirements:
- Commercially minded and entrepreneurial finance professional.
- Qualified accountant and accomplished strategic business planner.
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience in managing a high-performing finance team.
- Intellectual abilities, gravitas, and sensitivity to command the respect of colleagues, students, parents, governors, and external stakeholders.
