Maersk Procurement is a service function within A.P. Moller Maersk, supporting our business units globally. Our vision is to develop solutions that digitize and automate strategic procurement processes, addressing complex Procure to Pay industry challenges with innovative solutions.

As a Solution Architect, you will work with product owners and engineering teams to convert our business vision into tangible products, delivering real value to the organization. To succeed in this role, we believe you can offer:

  • You are passionate about architecture and building solutions with a keen eye on emerging technologies.
  • A career in technology with a focus on scalability and security.
  • A demonstrable track record as a Solution Architect developing products in agile delivery environments, considering quality attributes such as security, scalability, performance, and availability.
  • Experience integrating 3rd party SaaS applications with bespoke product builds.
  • Experience with event streaming, APIs, Microservices, database technologies, and Azure capabilities, including Java, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
  • Proven ability to engage with business product owners to understand business needs, processes, and priorities, leading requirement gathering and analysis, and designing solutions leveraging appropriate tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, resolving issues as needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and ability to thrive in demanding situations.
  • Prior experience working within procurement or finance domains is highly desirable.
