**Job Summary**

Sheridan Maine South is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for producing and reviewing financial statements, managing the audit process, and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and SOX controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Produce and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors, managing the audit process and resolving audit queries.
  • Internal Controls: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and SOX controls, ensuring a robust and effective control environment.
  • Technical Papers: Produce technical papers and reports, providing insights and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Finance Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to ensure correct accounting treatments and provide support as needed.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in ad hoc project work and analysis, providing expertise and support to the finance team.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a Financial Reporting or Audit Manager role, with a strong background in IFRS.
  • Qualifications: Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with a number of years of PQE in industry or practice.
  • Skills: Strong technical reporting knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
