About the Role

This is a dynamic and fast-paced position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the supply chain and logistics function from inbound merchandise inventory through to customer returns across all channels.

As a key member of the Monocle Films team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our shops, events, clients, and customers receive products on time, in great condition, and in the most efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage efficient and punctual delivery for customers across all channels, including online customers, physical retail, ad-hoc events, and commercial requests.
  • Oversee the management of third-party logistics partners on a day-to-day basis.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of incoterms, HS codes, global import/export procedures, and necessary documentation.
  • Build and optimize performance tracking systems and use data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain exceptional global stakeholder management skills.
  • Multitask and prioritize requests from and to internal business partners, external suppliers, third-party logistics warehouses, and couriers.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and negotiate commercial terms to enhance logistic processes and cost efficiencies.
Requirements
  • At least five years of relevant experience in logistics/supply chain, preferably for consumer-goods businesses.
  • Knowledge of retail and e-commerce channels, and industry trends and changes in international supply chain.
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent spoken and written English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
