About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our Commercial Broker team in Newbury. As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for handling a range of Personal and SME Commercial insurance policies, obtaining new business quotations, and arranging cover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling a portfolio of Personal and SME Commercial insurance policies
  • Obtaining new business quotations and arranging cover, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Processing mid-term adjustments and quarterly declarations
  • Providing exceptional client service, responding promptly to day-to-day enquiries and managing expectations
  • Referring technical queries to relevant Account Executives or Directors
  • Negotiating and inviting renewal of allocated client policies
  • Ensuring client records reflect current risk on cover, including accuracy of sums insured, perils, excesses, extensions, and exclusions
  • Attaining cross-sell and up-sell opportunities on policies
  • Liaising with the Claims department on claims queries and reports
About You

We are looking for an experienced Account Handler with a strong background in insurance and excellent client servicing skills. You will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional results and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
