THE POSITION

The Senior Print Designer plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of printing projects, ensuring the company's commercial needs are met through creative and effective solutions. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to deliver seasonal design briefs and additional design requirements as needed.
  • Research and gather concepts, designs, and reference material in line with the seasonal design brief and additional projects.
  • Present design mock-ups and print colourways to the Design Director for revision and feedback.
  • Design and produce artwork in repeat or placement files for sampling.
  • Oversee the printing process to ensure colour quality and consistency across different fabrications.
  • Pick trim matchings and assist the team in colour matching between print and trim in line with the seasonal collection.
  • Review printed garment samples and address any required changes before launching to production.
  • Manage the timelines and workflow of both the Print Designer and Junior Print Designer for design projects in line with the critical path.
  • Maintain the brand's consistency across all designs and printed materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and printing standards.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification in illustration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a related field.
  • Experience working with commercial and digital printers.
  • Knowledge of different print production techniques and processes used for textiles, including sublimation, digital, screen print, rotary print, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to design prints in both repeat and placement design for commercial printer requirements.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects.
