Senior Print Designer

Orlebar Brown is seeking a highly skilled Senior Print Designer to join our Design team on a 12-month contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to deliver seasonal design briefs and additional design requirements.
  • Research and develop concepts, designs, and reference materials in line with the seasonal design brief and additional projects.
  • Present design mock-ups and print colourways to the Design Director for revision and feedback.
  • Design and produce repeat and placement files for sampling.
  • Oversee the printing process to ensure colour quality and consistency across different fabrications.
  • Pick trim matchings and assist the team in colour matching between print and trim.
  • Review printed garment samples and address any required changes before launching to production.
  • Manage the timelines and workflow of both the Print Designer and Junior Print Designer for design projects.
  • Maintain the brand's consistency across all designs and printed materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and printing standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in illustration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a related field.
  • Experience working with commercial and digital printers.
  • Knowledge of different print production techniques and processes used for textiles.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to design prints in both repeat and placement design for commercial printer requirements.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects.
