About the Role

CATS Global Schools is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bank Operations Assistant to join our team on a zero-hour basis. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will provide support in covering sickness and holiday absences, as well as assist with additional workloads during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake various duties across the Cleaning and Catering departments as directed, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Cleaning tasks include dusting surfaces, wiping door handles, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning restrooms, showers, and residence communal kitchens, emptying bins, and replenishing stocks.
  • Use equipment, machinery, and cleaning materials effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with safe working practices.
  • Assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchens and dining rooms.
  • Operate the Pot Wash facility, including loading and unloading of utensils, cutlery, plates, etc.
  • Assist with the serving of the Coffee Bar facility and prepare, make, and serve hot beverages as required.
Person Specification
  • Able to work on your own initiative and follow instructions and adhere to processes.
  • A proactive, pragmatic approach to problems and challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • A desire to make a difference to people.
  • Good communication skills (English level B1 minimum) and teamwork attitude.

  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Health and Safety (including COSHH) awareness and knowledge is desirable.
  • Previous work experience within a residential environment is advantageous.
