Job Title: Adult Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Learning Disability Team in West Dorset. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment to adults with learning disabilities who have a range of psychological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment to adults with learning disabilities
  • Work closely with a range of skilled and dedicated professionals within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Assist with supervision to assistant psychologists and guide doctoral trainee clinical psychologists on placement
  • Develop and implement therapy packs, capacity assessments, and other initiatives

About the Role:

This is a part-time post of 25.2 hours per week based at Acland Road in Dorchester. The role is diverse and allows opportunities to develop your own individual therapy skills, work on service development, continue with your professional development, and work with a range of really skilled professionals who are all passionate about working with adults who have a learning disability.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Relocation package available for those interested in moving to Dorset
