Work Schedule: Full-time positions only

Minimum Daily Rate: £100 per day

Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (full day)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). The PRU serves children excluded from mainstream education or those needing extra support beyond traditional school settings. The main aim of the PRU is to reintegrate students into mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support primary and secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH), as well as Behavioural Difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students, promoting social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student well-being and engagement.
Requirements
  • Passion for education and commitment to supporting students with SEND.
  • Previous experience working with SEND children or managing Behavioural Difficulties is advantageous.
  • Resilience, determination, and dedication, recognizing the challenges of the role but finding it ultimately rewarding.
