- C&G Heavy Vehicle Repair level 3 (or equivalent)
- Military vehicle technical and maintenance experience
- Test authorisation for technical tests specified by statutory authorities
- A driving licence Class C (HGV2) minimum desirable
- Relevant experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repair, ideally in military equipment, heavy commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or specialist vehicle manufacture
- Skill and experience in the operation of diagnostic equipment, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
