Audit and Accounts Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our clients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit and accounts, with experience in supporting audits from planning to completion and preparing statutory accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior auditors to support engagements from planning to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Preparation of statutory accounts, as well as reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff.
- Preparation of corporation tax computations (training can be provided if needed).
- Deliver a strong commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development.
- Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
- Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.

The Successful Applicant:
- ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified with previous experience within practice.
- Experience supporting audits from planning to completion.
- Adept at the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Corporate tax knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen.
