AAT Audit and Accounts Senior

Armstrong Knight is seeking a highly skilled AAT Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, including companies, partnerships, and sole practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for all aspects of their audit affairs and ad hoc project work.
  • Plan and carry out audit fieldwork, statutory financial reporting, and completion work.
  • Collaborate with the tax department and deal with tax computations and personal/corporate tax issues.
  • Maintain and control a portfolio of mainly audit clients.
  • Undertake work at client premises and liaise with clients, including acting as a point of contact for day-to-day ad hoc queries and enquiries.
  • Prepare and update benchmarking data reports for use within both audit and corporate finance work.
Requirements:
  • Newly or recently qualified ACA/CA/ACCA.
  • Experience of systems controls testing, substantive and analytical review auditing techniques, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
  • Understanding of the bigger picture and auditing individual balances.
  • Well-developed supervisory skills, including coaching and motivation of audit assistants.
  • Good project management techniques, including decision-making ability, analytical skills, time management, organisation, evaluative, and administrative skills.
