Job Description

As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and pupils. Your duties will include:

Main Responsibilities
  1. Supporting Pupils' Learning: Assist teachers in the management of pupils' learning, including providing one-to-one support and leading small groups.
  2. Pupil Welfare: Attend to pupils' personal needs, including social, health, hygiene, first-aid, and welfare matters.
  3. Classroom Support: Prepare classrooms, clear afterwards, and assist with the display of pupils' work.
  4. Clerical/Admin Support: Provide administrative support, including photocopying, typing, filing, collecting money, and record keeping.
  5. Planning and Delivery: Assist with the planning and delivery of learning activities.
  6. Out-of-School Activities: Accompany teachers and pupils on out-of-school activities and take responsibility for a group, under the direction of a teacher.
