Early Years Teaching Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at Elmtree School and Nursery. The successful candidate will work 34 hours per week, term time plus inset days, and will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning of our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering the curriculum and promoting positive learning behaviors
- Assist with the planning, preparation, and evaluation of lessons
- Provide individual and group support to children who require additional help
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Person Specification
We are looking for an individual who has:
- An NVQ2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or higher
- Experience working in an Early Years setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
