Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support our KS3 and KS4 classes in a lovely SEN Secondary School in Romsey. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons to students with SEN needs
* Assist with outdoor day trips and activity days to promote socialization and learning
* Embody the school's vision and core values in all aspects of your work
* Work with students with ASC, complex needs, and challenging behaviors
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to ensure students stay on track with the curriculum

**Ideal Candidate:**

* Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Has experience working with students with SEN needs (not essential)
* Can develop strong relationships and rapport with students
* Is proactive, patient, and resilient

**Requirements:**

* Right to work in the UK
* Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
* DBS registered to the update service or willing to apply for one with GSL Education
