Anderson Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our client, a well-established and successful local family-run business based in Central Gloucester. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance department, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Rentals Management: Set up new rentals, end rentals, conduct credit checks, chase debt, reconcile accounts, post and arrange payments, and present current debt to senior management and liaise with customers.
- Sales Ledger: Provide ad hoc cover for the credit controller, check delivery manifests, and maintain accurate records.
- Purchase Ledger: Input purchase invoices, match goods to invoices, check prices, resolve queries, and deal with product returns and claims, and input banking transactions.
- Tills Cover: Reconcile showroom tills to database totals to ensure all sales are accurately recorded.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with various projects as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous accounts experience, be competent in Microsoft Word and Excel, and possess excellent communication skills. Our client is willing to provide training for the right candidate.
Working Hours and Salary:The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with the possibility of flexible working hours and hybrid working arrangements after a successful probation period. The salary for this position is £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
