The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Maintenance Team Member to join our hotel's maintenance team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing regular maintenance and repair work on the hotel's equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Responding promptly to any maintenance requests or emergencies, and addressing them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the hotel's facilities and equipment to identify any maintenance issues and ensure they are addressed promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance work, including expenses, work completed, and parts used.
  • Assisting with the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
  • Awareness and adherence to health and safety guidelines to ensure safe maintenance practices.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role within a hotel or similar environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building and facility systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Able to work well as part of a cohesive team.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with willingness to cover evenings and weekends if required.
  • Good understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures.

Estimated Salary Range: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
