About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Barchester Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our care homes, gardens, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all care home facilities, including buildings, gardens, and grounds.
- Lead a team of maintenance staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality maintenance services.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Liaise with contractors and external agencies to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to a high standard.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out with sensitivity to the needs of our residents and staff.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in property maintenance, with experience of managing a team and overseeing maintenance operations. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
