Job Title: Facilities Manager

FM Conway is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our facilities. As our Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all maintenance activities, including repairs, renovations, and installations. Ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and operational is a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage budgets for facilities maintenance, repairs, and improvements, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Liaise with external contractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain competitive bids, negotiate contracts, and oversee service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and environmental regulations.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to mitigate risks.
  • Optimise space utilisation within facilities, including planning office layouts and overseeing moves and relocations.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, machinery, and supplies, and coordinate procurement and disposal processes as necessary.
  • Supervise facilities staff and provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
Requirements:

We are seeking a Facilities Manager with proven experience in facilities management and a strong understanding of building systems, maintenance, and safety regulations. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills and be proficient in budget management, vendor negotiation, and project management. A CFM certification or degree in Facilities Management is desirable. Travel to other company locations will be required, and therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.
