Job Description

Job Title: Senior UX Designer- Senior Service Designer

Location: Remote (with travel to London & Cambridge), will move to 2 days per week in London in 2025

Salary: Up to £75,000 pa + 10% bonus

Benefits: 30 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, Pension and several other benefits

In a mission to transform the educational experience by redefining their testing platform, our client is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the way in enhancing the user experience across their platform. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing a cutting-edge testing platform.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end UX processes, from research to design, ensuring that user insights directly influence product strategy and development.
  • Oversee and drive UX research and design efforts, ensuring a seamless user experience from concept through to final product.
  • Conduct user research using various methods, including A/B testing, usability testing, interviews, and analytics.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups using tools like Figma, Dovetail, and Jira.
  • Advocate for user-centred design and champion best practices.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Education, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX Research and Design or similar roles, with a proven track record of leading design projects from inception through implementation.
  • Extensive experience with user research methods and proficiency in design and prototyping tools.
  • A solid understanding of user-centred design principles and how to integrate them into a product development process.
