About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team at Copello Global. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our maintenance operations meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year.

Job Overview

The Safety and Regulatory Affairs Manager will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant aviation regulations, implementing a quality audit program, and coordinating with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with EASA Part-145 and other applicable regulations.
  • Implement a quality audit program to review compliance with maintenance procedures.
  • Closely coordinate with regulatory authorities, customer airlines, and subcontractors to address any compliance findings or safety issues.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in safety management systems, hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation.
  • Liaise with the Director of Compliance and Safety to develop and manage compliance and safety documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as aviation management or engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field, preferably in a Part-145 environment.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part-145 and other relevant aviation regulations.
  • Experience in safety management systems, hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
