Domestic Abuse Family Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Family Team Leader. As a key member of our Domestic Abuse Support Service, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice, information, and practical assistance to victims of domestic abuse involved in criminal and family proceedings.
As a Family and Criminal Law Specialist, you will work closely with our clients, providing guidance and support to help them navigate the complex legal system. Your expertise will be invaluable in assisting our clients to achieve the best possible outcomes in their cases.
With a strong background in family and criminal law, you will be responsible for attending court, in person or remotely, to represent and/or assist our clients. You will also be required to write and deliver specialist training for litigants in person going through the family court on a monthly rolling basis.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience of working within the civil and family courts. You will need to have a strong understanding of family and criminal law, as well as experience of working with victims of domestic abuse.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date and relevant case notes and database entries. You will also be required to work closely with our volunteers and other team members to ensure the smooth delivery of our services.
