Our trust has a commitment to general surgery and urology on call at Core Surgical Trainee level. We provide general and emergency hospital care, alongside highly specialised regional services for more than two million people in the North West.

Job Description

This full-time surgical training fellow post involves working closely with experienced consultants to develop a tailored clinical timetable. The role requires providing support in delivering bedside and tutorial-based teaching, as well as providing mentorship and supervision of medical students.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must be fully registered with the General Medical Council with a licence to practice. A background in general surgery or urology is preferred, but not essential. We encourage applicants who have completed the Foundation or Core Surgical Training programmes and/or those preparing to apply for specialist training programmes (either core or higher specialist training).
