Job Title: Transport Planner

Location: Redditch

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience)

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)

Holiday: 20 Days per annum (after 5 years' service the candidate will gain 1 extra days annual leave per year - up to max of 25 days)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement efficient transportation routes and schedules
  2. Optimize vehicle utilization to minimize costs
  3. Ensure compliance with vehicle and tachograph legislation
  4. Collaborate with drivers and account managers to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
  1. At least 1 year of experience in route planning
  2. Excellent communication and administration skills
  3. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  4. Proficiency in transportation management systems
  5. Knowledge of driver time directive regulations
  6. Strong geographical knowledge
  7. Analytical and problem-solving skills
