About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Support Professional to join our team at Refuge. As a key member of our workforce, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and safety planning for survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our refuge accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver personalized support plans to meet the complex needs of survivors
  • Work closely with survivors from crisis to move-on, ensuring they access essential services such as housing, welfare, and legal advice
  • Collaborate with statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure comprehensive support for survivors
  • Provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for survivors in accordance with Refuge's principles
Requirements:
  • Able to work in an out-of-hours on-call rota
  • Dedicated to promoting the well-being and empowerment of survivors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Salary:

£15,397.12 per annum
